Saudade
according to Wikipedia: Saudade is a Portuguese and Galician term that claims no direct translation in English. It describes a deep emotional state of nostalgic or profound melancholic longing for an absent something or someone that one loves. Moreover, it often carries a repressed knowledge that the object of longing might never return. Saudade was once described as "the love that remains" after someone is gone.

Awarded by Minister of Culture and National Heritage Award for best master diploma in Painting in Poland (1st prize), 18th edition, Poland, 2008
This cycle was an attempt to take the discourse between painting and art, whether painting still plays an important role in the arts. Paintings are installation of four Plexiglass on each are different basic transparent color of CMYK. Only in one particular moment, in the correct angle you can see proper portrait.
CMYK (cyan, magenta, black) it is printing technique, I use it to show my doubt, if painting still can win with modern visual technics.
